Enter an absence notification or request
In the Create Absence Panel, you can enter information to notify your employer of an absence from work.
- Click Absences in the navigation panel.
 - Click Absence Notification.
 - 
Enter the absence information.
Note:
- If the absence date is after the current date, this is considered an absence request.
 - If the absence date is before the current date, this is considered an absence notification to your employer.
 
 - Optional: Upload a certificate of your absence by doing one of the following.
- Drag a copy of the certificate to the Upload Certificates section.
 - Click Browse For File, navigate to the certificate on your computer, and click Open.
