Accept Mercado Pago payments

You can set up OnBalance so that you can accept online payments from your customers using Mercado Pago.

You must have an existing Mercado Pago account to connect with OnBalance.

Note: If you accept online payments using Mercado Pago, you can also connect to Mercado Libre for e-commerce sales.

Sales options screen

From the company setup menu,

To open your company setup menu, click your company name in the upper-right corner.

For more information, see company setup menu.

choose Sales Options.
In the Mercado Pago setup section, click Link.
Enter your user name and password in Mercado Pago, and click Login.
Authorize OnBalance to access your Mercado Pago account.
Read the information about the payment process, and click OK.

The Accept Mercado Pago Payments section will indicate you are successfully linked.

Notes

Once you successfully link OnBalance with Mercado Pago, you can mark the Accept Mercado Pago Payments checkbox to accept online payments for your sales.
When you set up your Mercado Pago account, OnBalance creates Mercado Pago available and pending accounts, which are used to automatically register deposits of Mercado Pago payments.
After you link your Mercado Pago account, you can see the name of the user linked in Sales Options.

New Sale screen

In the New Sale screen,

To open the New Sale screen, click New Sale in the Sales screen.

click Link your Mercado Pago account to accept online payments.
Enter your user name and password in Mercado Pago, and click Login.
Authorize OnBalance to access your Mercado Pago account.
Read the information about the payment process, and click OK.

Note: Once you successfully link OnBalance with Mercado Pago, you can mark the Accept Mercado Pago Payments checkbox to accept online payments for your sales.

Unlink account

If you no longer want to accept online payments through Mercado Pago, you can unlink your account from OnBalance.

From the company setup menu,

To open your company setup menu, click your company name in the upper-right corner.

For more information, see company setup menu.

choose Sales Options.
In the Accept Mercado Pago Payments section, click Unlink.
Click Save.
