Accounting reports

You can view and download reports to help you maintain your accounting books in OnBalance.

Note: The accounting reports that you can view depend on whether you have the accounting module enabled. For more information about the reports that are available, see Reports.

You can filter the reports by period.

You can also download reports.

Report Description
Journal Entries

Provides detail of transactions of the business in the order that those transactions occur.

  • Accounting module enabled: This report is displayed in a new tab in your browser and is a PDF file that you can download.
  • Accounting module not enabled: This report is downloaded as an Excel spreadsheet file that you can import into EstudioOne. To do this, you should use the default configuration of EstudioOne while working in the Journal Book spreadsheet.
General Ledger

Provides a central repository of the accounting information of an organization in which the summaries of all accounts (culled from the journal entry) during an accounting period are recorded. Provides the entire data for preparing financial statements for the organization. Lists the account number, account description, debit or credit, and adjusted balance.

This report is available only to companies with the accounting module enabled and is a PDF file that you can download.

Trial Balance

Displays the total of debit, the total of credit, and the balance for each account of the chart of accounts.

This report is available only to companies with the accounting module enabled and is a PDF file that you can download.

Balance Sheet

Shows a company's financial position and wealth at the last day of its accounting year.

This report is available only to companies with the accounting module enabled and is a PDF file that you can download.

The availability of some or all of these features depends on your OnBalance contract and/or configuration.
